Enhancing security using the power of the cloud with Eagle Eye Networks and Brivo Access

The Challenge

Tooting & Mitcham Community Sports Club is a not-for-profit organisation that manage and operate the facilities at the Tooting & Mitcham Football club, alongside developing and running community based events and projects for local residents and businesses.

As the site is open both to the public and members alike, restricting access to certain parts of the facility is paramount.

As a large proportion of visitors arrive by vehicle, a need to monitor the number and type of vehicles was also required.

SES were asked to implement an full security audit, and offer a cost effective solution, that allowed the client to secure the site from unauthorised access, monitor traffic entering and leaving the facility.

 The Solution

SES Technologies partnered with Eagle Eye Networks to design, install and commission,  a true cloud CCTV system for the new cameras and partnered with Brivo Systems to design and implement an integrated access control system.

Bosch  four megapixel internet protocol (IP) CCTV cameras, external and internal,  with day/night functionality and integrated infrared (IR) lighting were installed and linked to the clients IP network,  along with the existing analogue cameras.

The cameras all connect to the Eagle Eye cloud VMS, enabling key staff to access live and recorded footage, from any internet connected device.

A Brivo access control system was implemented, and integrated with the Eagle Eye cloud VMS, to provide a fully cloud based CCTV / Access control system. Access events are now linked to CCTV footage.

Using AI analytics, vehicle registration plates are recorded, with alerts for unauthorised vehicles issued to key personnel.

Successful results

The adoption of a cloud based CCTV  and access control solution has provided the site with a true cloud experience, enabling reliable and secure monitoring of their site with access to both live and recorded CCTV footage. The site is now secured against unauthorised access, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.

The implementation of the cloud solution has mitigated the cost and complexity of  maintaining the existing traditional on-premise systems.

As a result of being able to use the existing  analogue cameras, all the included benefits such as “smart search”, additional AI analytics,  automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and remote servicing  has  meant a “total cost of ownership” saving of around 30% per year.
